What is Fishing Time?

Fishing Time is a wheel-bet game with 54 sectors, built by BGaming.

Forget reels and paylines. You back a sector group, the wheel spins, and it stops somewhere. Land a normal sector and you collect instantly. Land a Catch sector? Well... that's when the fisherman gets to work and the multiplier climbs.

Sector groupSectors on the wheelWhat it does
Regular White23Instant ×2 win
Regular Grey23Instant ×2 win
Big Catch4Triggers the fishing bonus
Huge Catch3Triggers a higher bonus
Mega Catch1The rarest, top bonus

Before each spin, random sectors can grab an extra 2× to 10× multiplier. If a boosted sector wins, that multiplier stacks on your payout. Don't want to pick? The All Bonuses button covers Big, Huge and Mega Catch in one tap.

How to play Fishing Time

Pick a chip, tap a sector, let the bar fill, watch the wheel.

That's the whole loop. It really is that quick — most rounds wrap in seconds.

  1. Pick a chip value at the bottom of the screen.
  2. Tap the sector card you want to back. Multiple bets are fine.
  3. Hit All Bonuses to cover all three Catch sectors at once.
  4. Place bets while the "Place your bets" bar fills, then they lock automatically.
  5. Watch the wheel settle. Normal sectors pay instantly; a Catch launches the bonus.
  6. Optional: use Autoplay (A) to run a set number of rounds hands-free.
The fishing bonus is the fun bit. The fisherman reels the catch in, the multiplier ticks up as it fights, and the final figure lands on your bet. The bigger the catch, the longer the pull.

Big, Huge & Mega Catch explained

The Catch sectors are the bonus — there's no separate free-spins round.

Each one sends you into the same reel-in mini-game, just with a different ceiling. Mega is the one everybody's hunting.

Big Catch green fish bonus symbol

Big Catch

4 sectors
×3 – ×150

The most common Catch. Mid-tier reel-in, fires often enough to keep things lively.

Huge Catch orange fish bonus symbol

Huge Catch

3 sectors
×5 – ×300

Rarer, with a higher ceiling. A solid step up from Big Catch when it hits.

Mega Catch pink fish bonus symbol

Mega Catch

1 sector
×10 – ×1000

One single sector on the whole wheel. This is your only road to the ×1000 top win.

Now stack the random 2×–10× multipliers on top. A Mega Catch that lands on a boosted sector gets multiplied again — capped, of course, by the ×1000 max win. That cap is real, so don't expect miracles beyond it.

Fishing Time RTP & volatility

The theoretical RTP is 96%, running on a certified RNG.

That's bang on the industry average — not generous, not stingy. RTP just describes long-run return, not what one session does. Worth knowing: some operators run alternative RTP versions, so check the in-game info wherever you play.

Volatility — our read

BGaming doesn't publish an official volatility band here, so this is our assessment. With 46 of 54 sectors paying a flat ×2, small wins land often. The 8 Catch sectors plus those 2×–10× boosts create the rare, big swings up to ×1000. So we'd call it medium volatility with high-volatility spikes.

RTP: 96% Hit pattern: frequent ×2 Rare big multipliers Max win: ×1000 Bet: 0.1–250

Max win & full paytable

The maximum win is ×1000 your bet — a hard cap per round.

Put a £1 bet at the ceiling and you'd see £1,000 back. Even at the max 250-unit stake, the ×1000 cap still applies. Being straight with you: ×1000 is modest next to some modern slots chasing 10,000×+.

If you're chasing life-changing scores, this isn't the game. If you want quick, low-stakes wheel action — it fits nicely.

Review

Fishing Time review: our verdict

Fishing Time is a tidy, fast, low-stakes wheel game that won't overwhelm you.

We spent a good while on the demo. The appeal is the speed and the simplicity — no paylines, no cascades, nothing to memorise. You pick, you spin, you see. The Catch reel-in adds just enough drama to stop it feeling flat. Where it falls short is ambition: the ×1000 cap and missing live host keep it firmly in "casual filler" territory rather than headline act. Good for a quick session. Not the one you build a night around.

Pros

  • Very fast rounds
  • Tiny minimum bet
  • Dead simple to learn
  • No paylines to track
  • Clear, honest paytable
  • All Bonuses shortcut
  • Mobile-friendly free demo

Cons

  • ×1000 ceiling is modest
  • No live host or social feel
  • No classic free-spins round

How much does Fishing Time return to players?
It sits at a 96% theoretical RTP, run on a certified RNG. Mind you, some operators load alternative versions, so check in-game.
What's the biggest possible win?
The cap is ×1000 your stake, applied per round. That's the ceiling — nothing pays above it.
